It was too dark to see much of anything. The planet had long been inside the shade of its larger brother, and though this had hardly been a problem - there was always enough space between the two for it to get light from the central star - this particular revolution left Nytrix in the very wake of its brother. As such, night had perpetually fallen over the planet. It would logically follow that the landmasses of Nytrix were also blanketed in shadow, and thus that the citizens would have grown up without the warmth and light of the star to rely on. The denizens of the planet were now nocturnal.
So, to correct oneself, it was too dark to see much of anything - unless, of course, you were a resident of Nytrix. In particular, one boy saw the shadow of the enforcer which had been stationed over his town since three months ago, when the resistance movement was sighted in this galaxy. It seemed stupid, to assign a Wyyxiem to such a small planet, but the Originator had to know what he was doing, right? The boy certainly hoped so; he wished that the resistance would just leave and the Guardians would call off the enforcer. It had set everyone in the town on edge, to have that thing constantly looming over their streets.
